Affirmations & Gratitude
The Paradigm Affirmation
Daily affirmations worded positively, eliminating negative works like don't, not, can't, etc, repeated at least twice daily, upon waking/first thing in the morning, and at night/right before going to sleep, send clear messaging to your brain of what you should expect in your life. Commit to twice daily reading aloud of the affirmation (or make your own) for two weeks and see how your perspective has changed.

If you do nothing else on your journey but starting saying thank you each and every day to all you have, it will change your live exponentially.
What is gratitude? Gratitude is a positive emotion that involves being thankful and appreciative for something or someone in your life. Gratitude is associated with several mental and physical health benefits. It has been shown to improve psychological well-being, increase positive emotions, and enhance overall life satisfaction.
Practicing gratitude can also enhance relationships, as it fosters goodwill and strengthens social connections. Expressing gratitude can take many forms, such as expressing thanks to others or mentally expressing gratitude for the small things in life that are going on all around you. It is a way of acknowledging and valuing the positive aspects of one's life and can help shift one’s mindset to a more positive/optimistic outlook.
Why you might consider making it a regular practice:
· Improved mental health: Research has shown that practicing gratitude can lead to significant improvements in mental health, including increased happiness, reduced depression and anxiety, and increased resiliency.
· Better relationships: Expressing gratitude towards others can help foster stronger and more positive relationships.
· Increased empathy and reduced aggression: Regularly practicing gratitude can increase empathy towards others, as well as reduce feelings of aggression and retaliation.
· Strengthened spiritual and mindfulness practice: Gratitude is often an important component of many spiritual and mindfulness practices, helping practitioners to stay present, maintain perspective, and connect with the world around them.
· Boost to physical health: Regular practice of gratitude has been shown to improve physical health, such as reduced inflammation, better quality of sleep, and lower stress hormone levels in the body.
While practicing gratitude can be a hugely beneficial practice, it's not a magic cure-all for all of life's problems. However, simply taking a few minutes each day to focus on the things in your life that you are thankful for can help shift your mindset towards the positive and improve overall well-being.
