Imperfection Wellness, LLC (“I,” “me,” “we”) owns and operates ImperfectionWellness.com (the “Site”) and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what I collect, why, and what choices you have.
Information I collect
Newsletter and free resources: your email address, and your first and/or last name, if you provide it. Signing up for a freebie or making a purchase from me directly also subscribes you to my newsletter, which is stated at signup and checkout noting you can opt-out at any time.
Bookings: if you register for an intro talk or class through Cal.com or other online scheduler, I receive what you submit, such as your name, email address, and chosen time.
Messages: if you email me or contact me through the Site, I receive your message and contact details.
Orders and payments: if you buy merchandise or pay for a class or training from me directly, I receive your name, email address, and order details, and your shipping address for physical items. Payments are currently processed by PayPal, and I may also use Stripe or other payment processors in the future. These processors collect and handle your payment card information under their own privacy policies. I do not store your full card number.
Device and usage information (automatic): using Google Analytics, I collect information such as your browser, device type, IP address, approximate location, time zone, the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, and how you interact with it, mostly through cookies or similar technologies.
You can visit the Site without giving me any personal information. If you choose not to provide it, you may not be able to use some features, such as receiving the newsletter or contacting me through the Site.

Aggregate usage statistics are not used to identify individual visitors.
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not share it for advertising. I use service providers who process data only to provide their services to me: Hostinger (website hosting), Titan and/or Kit (email and newsletter delivery), Cal.com (scheduling), Google Analytics (website analytics), PayPal and Stripe (payment processing). Newsletters are sent manually, and subscribers’ email addresses are never visible to other subscribers.
Legal bases (EU/UK visitors). I process your data based on your consent (newsletter, and analytics cookies where required), to carry out a contract with you (bookings and purchases), and for my legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies and analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect the usage data described above. You can limit this through your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Embedded or linked content from services such as Spotify, YouTube, and social media platforms may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Email choices and retention. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email me to be removed. New subscribers confirm their address through a double opt-in. I keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Booking, order, and payment records are kept as long as needed for my business, tax, and legal obligations.
Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have the right to:

International transfers. My service providers may store and process data in the United States, Canada, and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live.
Security. I use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website, email, or internet transmission is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children. The Site is not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given me their information, email me and I will delete it.
Third-party sites and services. The Site links to other websites, including retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and The Game Crafter. Payment processors such as PayPal and Stripe also have their own privacy policies, which apply when you pay through them. I do not control these third parties and am not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
Legal disclosure. I may disclose information if required or permitted by law, such as in response to a subpoena or government request, or when I believe in good faith it is necessary to protect my rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
Changes. I may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
